Sustainability Practices Policy
At Frankie Rose Hair and Makeup for Weddings, sustainability and client care go hand in hand. I am committed to maintaining high professional standards while making responsible, thoughtful choices that reduce environmental impact wherever possible. The practices below outline how sustainability is embedded into my day to day working methods.
Reusable Tools and Hygiene Standards
I prioritise the use of high quality reusable tools across my professional kit, including brushes, palettes and hair tools. All reusable items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between clients in line with professional hygiene and industry best practice. This ensures a safe, hygienic experience for every client while significantly reducing unnecessary waste.
Responsible Use of Single Use Items
Where disposable items are required for hygiene reasons, such as mascara wands or cotton pads, they are used carefully and only when essential. Wherever possible, I opt for biodegradable or lower impact alternatives and avoid excessive use to minimise waste.
Ethical and Conscious Product Selection
My professional kit focuses on cruelty free and responsibly produced brands wherever available. I favour multi use products and professional grade formulations that deliver long lasting, high quality bridal results while reducing overconsumption and product waste.
Waste Reduction and Product Management
I manage my kit carefully to minimise waste and extend product lifespan. This includes monitoring expiry dates, decanting only what is required for each booking, and storing products correctly. Unused or unopened products are retained responsibly to avoid unnecessary disposal.
On Site Working Practices
When working at venues, I maintain a clean, organised and respectful setup. Reusable cloths are used where possible and all waste is removed at the end of each booking. Preparation areas are always left clean and as they were found.
Commitment to Continuous Improvement
Sustainability is an ongoing process. I regularly review my working practices, suppliers and products, and remain open to adopting more sustainable alternatives as they become available. My aim is to continually improve without compromising on service quality or client experience.
This policy is reviewed periodically to ensure it remains aligned with current professional standards, venue expectations and evolving sustainability best practice.
